At first everybody seemed not to understand the great job that all the Ambassadors were doing in Iceland. Fortunately and thanks to the media, we have had the opportunity to show everyone that this is a unique advertising campaign. A campaign that no one did before and that is just a success.
We need to take into account that more than one third of the GDP of the Canary Islands comes from tourism. That is the reason why we needed an innovation project. But not any. An ambitious project that could improve the arrival of tourists to the Islands. And a project that could show them that here there is not only sun and beaches, but also many things to do. That is why we were offering the four quality stamps: wellness delight, volcanic experience, water sports experience and family welcome.
As one of the Ambassadors and I think I can also talk for my partners, I just feel really proud to be able to participate in such a unique initiative. Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to part of this mission.
